Xenia-Jamestown Connector to Be Closed for Brush Removal, Paving, Full Depth Restoration

Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) will be closing the Xenia-Jamestown Connector between Waynesville-Jamestown Road/S. Maple Street and SR 72/Limestone Street, Jamestown, beginning as early as Monday, March 11, for brush removal in preparation for full-depth restoration of the paved trail.

Full-depth restoration paving for the Xenia-Jamestown Connector will begin in April and should be completed by May.

Portions of Frank Seaman Park and the spur to the trail from the park will also be paved during the renovation. These closings will be temporary and rolling.

Detours will be signed and direct trail users north on Waynesville-Jamestown Road, east on W. Washington Street and south on Limestone Street to access the paved trail.

The project is being funded by the Greene County Parks & Trails levy.
